Royal Chess Masters Group© Program

As a Gulf War Veteran being introduced to his first military war, my fellow Airmen and I experienced what the Oath to our country truly meant. The events that followed led us into emotional spaces that needed structuring and discussing. The time to share this socially effective and popular sport in a way never attempted had finally come.

RCMG Program Goals

  • Increase the use of chess in education

  • Expand the social, recreational, and rehabilitative applications of chess

  • Develop the depth and breadth of our partnerships

  • Use chess to increase opportunities for under-represented segments of society

  • Continuously improve internal operations and support services

  • Remind others of the positive aspects of humanitarian values

Chess is recognized as an essential tool that promotes inclusiveness and benefits education, rehabilitation, recreation, and friendly competition.

Our overall mission and goals are consistent with those of the US Chess Federation, International Chess Players Society and many of our Basic Humans Values which mostly include, but are not limited to: Respect, Acceptance, Consideration, Appreciation, Listening, Openness, Affection, Empathy and Support towards other Human Beings.

We strive to do this by providing Royal Chess Masters Group© Starter Program Kits through sponsorships and donations from individuals like you who want to share in the values and goals of promoting the following aspects that Chess can add to their environments:

  • Bringing People Together

  • Teaching You How To Win And Lose

  • Helping Children Realize The Consequences Of Their Actions

  • Helping You Focus

  • As An Educational Tool

  • Developing Creativity
